Adventure Ranch is home to one of the finest herds of
trophy elk in the United States. Typically, we have 3 x
3 bulls to Royal 6 x 6 and 7 x 7 Imperials and man 8 x
8's, 8 x 9's and larger bulls scoring well over 400. We
are the oldest and largest ranch east of Texas with 5
square miles of land and 65 miles of game trails. All
methods of hunting accepted including bow, handgun,
rifle and black powder.

If you
want an exciting hunting experience and an opportunity
to get a big trophy, our Elk rut hunt is for you. We
offer a limited amount of elk hunts each year. You will
have a chance to see a number of bulls over the 3 point
minimum. The elk we have taken range from 200 to 350
Boone and Crockett points.

I began
Deer Hunting and Elk Hunting in Colorado over 25 years
ago. We find the do-it-yourself non-guided hunt on
private property to be most fulfilling and productive
hunting experience available. I am licensed and bonded
in the state of Colorado.--We
and the landowners have designated a low number of Deer
and Elk hunters (4-8) per season on each lease to
guarantee a non-crowded, highly productive Elk and Deer
hunting environment. Our leases offer a wide selection
of accommodations. We have leases with cabins, camping
availability or if you wish a motel stay in the nearest
town.
