The caribou, often referred to as the King of the
Tundra, arbours an impressive set of antlers when
compared to its body size. In fact, they are the biggest
by comparison to any other big game animal of North
America. Your mature bull's rack will stand three to
four feet above its head, will bolster a true forest of
tines protruding in all directions as well as widen to a
spread of up to seventy inches. With an estimated
population of 700,000 to 1,000,000 in the Northern
Quebec territory, herds may count as many as 50,000
heads. Herds are formed three times a year: for the
spring migration, after calving, and in the autumn
during the rut. Otherwise they are scattered everywhere
in the Northern Territories. Caribou are known to be the
largest and fastest-growing wild herd on earth. Our
camps being situated between the roaming areas of the
two biggest herds, the Leaf River herd and the George
River herd, our organization offer the best and foremost
chance of being on the migration path at the right time

We hunt the eastern end of
Alaska's fabled Brooks Range. Some of our hunts are in
America's northernmost wildlife refuge. The Arctic
National Wildlife Refuge was originally set aside, in
part, because of the abundance of caribou in the area.

Some of our hunts are in America's northernmost wildlife

originally set aside, in part, because of the abundance
of caribou in the area. Within Alaska are numerous
individual herds, some resident in a small area, and
others migrating vast distances. Antler configuration is
fairly consistent among the herds with record book
animals coming from each.

The area that is being
hunted is known as the UNGAVA BAY REGION of Northern
Quebec's Eastern Arctic. It is in Inuit controlled
lands, governed under the James Bay Agreement. The area
consists of 300,000 square miles of the most pristine
landscapes, dotted with as many lakes as land.
The Leaf River Herd is
approximately 260,000 strong. It is a very healthy herd
and over the past ten years has been the most reliable
herd in both migration time and pattern as well as
trophy quality. All equipment
at both camps are in excellent condition. We make use of

habits A full time cook will prepare home cooked meals
for both breakfast and dinner. Lunches are usually
